FROM THE START
From scratch - not a refresh.
One Drop Refillery was a new business. The website was built as part of getting the shop online and operating - not as a replacement for an existing site. The work created the public site from scratch, established the online presence, and put the ordering and contact systems in place so the owner could keep using them as the business grew.
BUILDING THE DIGITAL FOUNDATION
Built around how the shop actually works.
The site is a Wix Classic build, structured around how the shop actually works. The core pages cover home, product discovery, how refilling works, membership, events, the origin story, and visit planning. Written runbooks were delivered so the owner can edit pages, publish events, and keep SEO and automations healthy without a developer on call.
WIX CLASSIC
- Home - featured categories and newsletter capture
- Product discovery deep-linked into Square
- How refilling works
- Membership and paid events
- Origin story and visit planning
- Owner runbooks for everyday updates
ECOMMERCE / SQUARE
Pickup, events, and inquiries in one path.
Square is the system of record for the catalog, pickup orders, paid workshops, and customer records. The marketing site educates and converts around it: visitors browse the product hub, follow Square deep links for pickup, and find pickup messaging on the way. Membership and workshops check out through Square as well. First-time visitors often need to understand tare weights and refill pricing before they ever walk in, and most of them are on phones - Wix Classic uses separate mobile and desktop layouts, so every pass had to be checked on a small screen.
CATALOG · PICKUP ORDERS · PAID EVENTS · FORM TO CRM
Wix lead forms sync into Square's Customer Directory through Zapier, so inquiries land with the same customer records the shop already uses at the counter.

SEARCH + ANALYTICS
Search and tracking from launch.
SEO and analytics were part of the original build. Each page has its own title and description, canonicals, and social cards. Search Console is connected. FAQ structured data is on the site. GA4 is the source of truth, with staff traffic filtered and key events in place for the actions that matter to the shop.
SEARCH
- Unique titles and descriptions on each page
- Canonicals and social-share cards
- FAQ structured data (JSON-LD)
- Search Console
- Local SEO foundation
ANALYTICS
- GA4 as the source of truth
- Key events for purchases, signups, membership interest, calls, and directions
- Staff traffic filtered
WHERE IT LANDED
A live site that matches the shop, gives visitors a clear next step, and has measurement in place from day one. The owner can stay hands-off or use the runbook for light updates - whichever fits how they want to run the business.
This wasn't a website refresh. It was part of helping a new local business get online and start operating.
