THE STARTING POINT
Solid Step Flooring had a Wix Classic site: one long page for a flooring contractor in Chippewa Falls, serving the Eau Claire area. The look was right. The quote buttons did not go anywhere, and the email on the site was wrong. I rebuilt it so the same business is easier to use, and easier to find.
WHAT CHANGED
01Pages for the work they do
The homepage keeps the approved look. Vinyl and laminate, epoxy, and carpet each have a page. Snow removal and junk removal are there too. Recent jobs are in a gallery.
02A way to ask for an estimate
Quote buttons open a short form, and the same form has its own page. Solid Step gets the request by email and can reply to the customer. If the email does not go through, the page says to call.
03Easier to find nearby
Each page has its own search title and description, written for people looking for this work in the Eau Claire area. The site tells search engines what the business is, where it works, and how to ask for an estimate.
WHERE IT LANDED
The site is live. Someone can look through the services, see recent jobs, and ask for a free estimate or call.
Local search is set up for the Eau Claire area, for the flooring work they actually do.

One Drop Refillery
A local refill shop needed a website that matched the store - Square checkout, pickup, events, and analytics the owner could run without a developer on call.
